There are twenty girls in our class. 在there be 句型中，主语是单数，be 动词用is ; 主语是复数，be 动词用are ; 如有几个并列主语时，be 动词要与离其最近的一个主语在人称和数上保持一致。（就近原则） There is a boy and three girls under the tree. There are three girls and a boy under the tree. There be 句型的否定句 在be 动词后面加not, 如果句子中有some,一般要变成any. There are two books on the desk. There aren’t two books on the desk. There is some bread in the plate. There isn’t any bread in the plate. There be 句型的一般疑问句 Be 动词（is, are)提到句首，some 变 any 句末用问号. There is a bed in the room. Is there a bed in the room?
