状语从句主要用来修饰主句或主句的谓 语。一般可分为八大类，分别表示时间、 地点、原因、目的、结果、条件、让步、 比较。尽管种类较多，但由于状语从句 与汉语结构和用法相似，所以理解和掌 握它并不难。状语从句的关键是要掌握 引导不同状语从句的常用连接词和特殊 的连接词即考点。 关联词  as /when / while ;after ;before ; since ; till / until    whenever ; no sooner …than / hardly … when    副词 immediately ;    时间状语从句 名词短语 the moment ; the minute ; the second ; each  (every )time ;the day (year ) ; next time ; the first (second    /last ) time ; by the time      条件状语从句 if ;  unless ; as(so ) long as ;   原因状语从句 because ; as ; since ; now (that ) 结果状语从句 so (such )… that …. 目的状语从句 so that ; in order that ;   让步状语从句 though ; although ; as ; however ; no matter ….; 疑问词+ever；  比较状语从句 than ; as(so )…. as ; the more ….the more  地点状语从句 where wherever when as while as soon 　常用引导词：______,__,_____,__ _____ ___._____,_______,_____,____,______,_______. as , while before after since till until 　特殊引导词：　　 the minute, the moment, the day， immediately , no sooner … than, hardly …when, scarcely … when ①I didn’t realize how special my mother was___ I became an adult. 　　②____ John was watching TV, his wife was cooking.　　 　　3.No sooner had I arrived home ____ it began to rain. 　　 1) when，while，as的区别： ①三者均可表示 “当……的时候”，如果主句表示的是短暂的动作， 而从句表示的是一段时间，三者可通用。 ②as和when都可与终止性动词连用， while只能与延续性动词连 用。如： It was snowing ____ we got to the airport ．当我们到达机场时， 天正下着雪。 （不能用 while ） ③as强调主句与从句表示的动作同时发生；while强调主句表示的 动作持续于while所指的整个时间内；when可指主、从句所述动作 同时或先后发生。如： He sang as he went along．他边走边唱。 Please write____ I read．我读的时候，请写下来。 ____ he reached home，he had a little rest ．回到家后，他休 息了一
