Effects of the Integrated picture books and creative drama activity on
elementary school children’s multiple intelligence
ABSTRACT
The purposes of this study were to investigate the effects of “Integrated of
picture books and creative drama activity” on elementary school children’s multiple
intelligence. The subjects were selected from an elementary school in Taichung City.
The third graders were from two classes and randomly were assigned to the
experimental group or control group. The experimental group received “Integrated of
picture books and creative drama activity” for two sessions per week during 16
weeks,but the control group did not. The obtained data were analyzed by ANCOVA
and Oneway ANOVA trend analysis. The results showed that children of experimental
group on linguistic intelligence, bodily-kinesthetic intelligence, interpersonal
intelligence, and intra-personal intelligence performed better than control group.
Furthermore, the rewriting ability of picture books’ ending on the experimental
group,would increased gradually.
