2016 考研资料分享群：248600511 第六节 多种复杂后置定语 在英语句子中，只要存在名词，就会存在修饰名词或解释名词的 东西。名词后只要不是谓语动词，一般都有修饰限定成分，即定语或 同位语。也就是说，我们只要能寻找到名词，那其后的成分确定是修 饰或解释前面的名词。比如 the work of hundreds of researchers around the world ，介词 of 短语显然是修饰 work 的，因此英语名词后面可以 同时跟多个后置定语的情况，这样就造成名词后面的修饰成分很长， 很难理解。如果将上述五种后置定语中的任意两种或三种进行组合， 比如“名词+介词+名词+过去分词”、“名词+介词+动名词+名词”和“名 词+分词短语+定语从句”等等，那句子阅读就会出现很大的障碍。下面 我们用考研阅读中的真题句子来解释和说明这些复杂后置定语现象。 89.
