摘 要 WiMAX（World Interoperability for Microwave Access），即全球微波接入互联的简称，是一种基于IEEE 802.16e-2005标准的宽带无线技术，该标准规定了媒体接入控制层（Media Access Control Layer, MAC）和物理层（Physical Layer, PHY）规范。由于服务质量（Quality of Service, QoS）是MAC层的核心，而调度算法的是影响QoS性能的重要因素。但WiMAX没有规定使用何种调度算法，所以，现有很多文献对调度算法进行研究，各种调度算法具有各自的特征、作用和优缺点等。因此，本文针对这一问题，首先，初步介绍了WiMAX标准的发展及其MAC层的结构和功能。其次，深入研究了WiMAX标准中各类调度类型和相应的特征、优缺点及QoS要求等。接下来，通过对大量资料的阅读，对现有的多种调度算法进行了详细的分析，并针对其特征进行对比归纳，得出各种服务类型可选用的调度算法，这是本文的重点内容和工作目标。最后，对适合实时轮询（Real Time Polling Service）服务的最早时限优先调度（Eearliest Deadline First, EDF）算法进行仿真，进一步加深对各类调度算法的理解。 关键词：WiMAX MAC QoS 调度算法  ABSTRACT WiMAX is the short name of World Interoperability for Microwave Access, which is a Broadband Wireless Technology based on the IEEE 802.16e-2005. The standard has defined the specifications of Media Access Control Layer (MAC) and Physical Layer (PHY). The Quality of Service (QoS) is the core of MAC layer, and scheduler has an important effect on QoS performance, but the standard has not defined which scheduling algorithm should be used. So many scheduler algorithms have been studied, each of them has their own characteristics, functions, advantages, disadvantages and so on. As to above problem, this paper firstly introduces the development of WiMAX and the structure and function of MAC layer. Secondly, the scheduling algorithms and the characteristics, QoS requirements, advantages and disadvantages of each one are studied. Then, according to many papers, an analysis of recent scheduling algorithms for WiMAX is made. Compare them and choose the best algorithm for each scheduler, which is the main work in the paper. Finally, in order to make deep understdanding, the Real Time Polling Service is successfully accomplished by using Eearliest Deadline First (EDF) scheduling algorithm.
