Essential conceptions
· A fracture(断裂) is the separation of an object or
material into two, or more, pieces under the action of
stress
· Strength(强度) of materials, is a subject which deals
with the behavior of solid objects subject to stresses and
strains.
· An elastic modulus(弹性模量), is the mathematical
description of an object or substances tendency to be
deformed elastically when a force is applied to it
