It plays an important role in reducing operation cost, avoiding inventory risk, improving management level and improving business ability. In this paper, the background of the supply chain, to study the inventory management combined with inventory management on behalf of the enterprise -- DELL, DELL and its suppliers starting from the point of view, combined with a large number of literature, analyze the whole process of the implementation of the present situation of the DELL company and zero inventory management, understand its advantages and disadvantages, and find the causes of the problems from the DELL company inside and outside, find out the factors which hinder the further expansion of DELL, and then puts forward some suggestions. Finally, the main ideas of this paper are summarized, and the experience and future development trend are summarized.
