The first period : 90 minutes
aims
1)Knowledge objectives :
Help students to grasp the new words and expressions; Help students to learn the functions of Past Participles; Help students to know something about EQ and IQ.
2)Ability objects :
Help students to pronounce and use the new words and expressions
correctly;
Help students to use the Past Participles to make sentences correctly; Help students to develop the ability of teamwork and thinking alone.

Step one : Lead in (6 minutes )
Ask students to list some qualities of a successful person .Then
classify them into IQ and EQ and introduce more then
ask students to disscuss which one is more important for ones
success.
Step two : Teach sdudents how to prounce he new words and phrases
and explain them generally. (6 minutes)
