A Let ’s tal&k Group work
一.Teaching aims
1. Knowledge aims: Students can listen and understand the
sentences: What ’s for dinner? Wait and see. What would
you like for dinner? I’d like some? , please. Everything is
ready.
2. Ability aims: Students can use the sentences to make a
survey, eg: What would you like for dinner? I ’d like some?
3. Emotion aims: healthy diet, healthy life.

1. Warm up
①Sing the song An apple a day
②Review the old words: fish, vegetable, beef, noodles,
rice and soup.
2. Preview
Play a little game Can you help me? In order to get the food,
students should use the sentences Can I have some ? ? Sure,
here you are.
4. Presentation
Let ’s talk
① After the teacher get to Mike ’s home, ask the students:
Do you want to know what happen in Mike ’s home?
Wait and see.
② Watch the video and tell them the meaning of dinner.
Then listen again , fill in the blanks and answer the
questions.
③ Read the dialogue after the tape one sentence by
sentence.
④ Show six kinds of food, ask the students What would you
like for dinner? I’d like some? to practice the
sentences.
⑤ Tell the students I’d like some milk, bread and
noodles for breakfast. I’d like some fish, beef,
vegetable and rice for dinner. Ask the students What
about you?
Group work
① Work in four
Ask your partners What would you like for dinner? I ’d like
some? and tick the food.
② Ask some groups to show their dialogue. And pay
attention to the people who doesn ’t like to eat
vegetables.
③Lead in the motion goal Healthy diet, healthy
life.

① Tell something about Chinese and Westerner ’s
