listen and say the new words : fine, well.
Ss can greet others with:

Teaching emphasis:

Teaching difficulties:
The meaning and the usage of “ You are kind. ”.
Teaching methods:
Task teaching method, Audio-linguistic method.
Teaching tools:
some pictures, word cards, the tape and the recorder ,computer are the tools.
Teaching steps:
Step 1 Warming up
Greetings.
Sing the English song: Good morning to you.
Step 2 Presentation and drill
Look at the TV of greeting of a cat and a duck . Get the meaning of the dialog.
C: Good morning, Miss Duck.
D: Good morning, Miss Cat. How are you?
C: I ’ m fine, thank you. How are you?
D: Thank you. I ’ m fine.
Learn to say the dialog:
---How are you?
---I ’ m fine, thank you. / I ’ m not very well.
Practise speaking the dialog with drawing the face.
Chain game:
S1: How are you?
S2: I ’ m fine. Thank you. How are you?
S3: I ’ m fine. / I ’ m not very well.
