What hobbies do they have?” Make a group with three or four students. Let them report their family members one by one. After all of them report, let the students sum the same and different hobbies they have. Step 2. Listen to the tape and answer the following questions: 1. What does Danny’s grandpa like? 2. Where did Grandpa come from? 3. Where did he learn English? 4. What is Danny’s hobby? Step 3. Read the text silently and check the answers. Then read the text loudly in class. Choose who reads the best? Step 4. Listen to the tape again. Then retell the story in a third person. Step 5. Come to “LET’S DO IT” This task is easy in English, but it is difficult to finish, because many family members can’t speak English. We can finish the task in Chinese. Then translate it into English by yourselves. Then write a report and present it to your class. Homework: 1. Finish off the activity book. 2. Go on the next reading in the student book.
