ASBC membership now includes an individual subscription to the ASBC Methods of Analysis (MOA) with more than 200 peer-reviewed methods, evaluated and recommended by ASBC based on industry-wide collaborative study. The online MOA format allows for continual updating and 24-7 access. There are also enhancements designed to help users understand and perform analytical methods, including built-in calculators, video, spreadsheets, audio PowerPoints, and color images. Beer Flavor Database (comprised of 624 molecules) and Hop Flavor Database (comprised of 594 molecules). Sensory labs can use the databases to compare panel thresholds to cited values or to create a vocabulary of commonly used flavor descriptors in beer.
