状语从句常见考点（一）时间状从 when/while/as 1) when： = 1 \* GB3 ① sb was doing sth when sth happened. = 2 \* GB3 ② sb was about to do sth when sth happened. = 3 \* GB3 ③ sb was on the point of doing sth when sth happened. = 4 \* GB3 ④ sb had (just/already) done sth when sth happened = 5 \* GB3 ⑤ when=since (既然） Eg: Why did you go to the restaurant when you can easily cook at home? = 6 \* GB3 ⑥ when=while=although (引导让步状语从句） while: = 1 \* GB3 ① while引导时间状从时，后面只能使用延续性动词,后面通常用进行时态，也可以使用一般时态。 While/When/As sb was doing sth, sth happened. =Sb was doing sth when sth happened. = 2 \* GB3 ② while放于两个分句中间表示对比，“然而”: A, while B. 注：A, B两个分句结构一般要满足对称原则。 = 3 \* GB3 ③ while=although, 放于句首，引导让步状语从句。 Eg: While I admire him as a doctor, I dont like him as a person.
