Attributive clause
1. Understanding of this lesson
This is a new lesson of attributive clause, but it is very important in attributive
clause.
2. Understanding of students
The students are the Middle school students and they have been studying English
for 2 years or more than 5 years. They have got some basic skills for English learning.
It is not a big problem for them to read the new words and understand the sentences in
the book.
In the previous period, the students have got some ideas about the sentence
structure and constituents, so they can review the knowledge they have learned.
3. Teaching aims and demands.
(1) Key vocabulary and structure: attributive clause...
(2) Ability goals: to train the students to know the attributive clause and use the
attributive clause.

Step1.Greeting and lead in
two pens, two bags, two books. Let the students discuss which one they like
better. (3 minutes)
I like the pen. The pen is red.
I like the pen which/that is red.
I like the bag. The bag is white.
I like the bag which/ that is white.
Step2.Attributive Clause (22 minutes)
定语( attributive )可以由形容词,代词,数词,名词,分词,不定式,介词短
语等来担任,修饰名词或者代词。
例如: The girl behind the tree is Lily.( 介词短语作定语)
The man driving too fast was drunk. (分词作定语)
