In recent years, TongHua district has developed evidently more slowly than some other developed districts within JiLin Province and the differences intend to be greater and greater At present, the regional economic competition has become more and more intense, so people in TongHua district pay general concern on how to make full use of the resource and policy advantages, lessen the differences with other developed districts md develop stridingly. On the basis of relevant theories of regional economic and development economic, with the combination of theory and practice, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, systematic analysis and comparative analysis, this paper sorts, analyzes and studies the main factors as district characteristics, present economic situation and development environment, etc. that influence the regional economic development in TongHua district.
