Through the thematic investigation, it is found that in the junior middle school of the marginal poor mountain area, the teaching of moral and legal theory shows that the students independent learning ability is not strong, and the students knowledge and practice are weak. Combined with investigation of morality and the rule of law and the scope of junior high school class teaching present situation, by collecting materials, analysis, comparison and comb, analyzes the reason of the influence of students autonomous learning, finds the student factor, teacher factor, social factor three dimensions and interweave, cultivate students autonomous learning ability must fill short strength from these three aspects.The new curriculum reform advocates independent learning and how to cultivate students independent learning ability becomes the key to realize the teaching plan and goal.
