一、教学目标
1. 掌握下列重点词汇及短语:expression, discover, secret, grammar, look up, fall in love with…, the secret to…, be afraid to do…, because of…, as well, so… that…
2. 掌握重点句型:
(1) The teacher spoke so quickly that I did not understand her most of the time.
(2) I discovered that listening to something interesting is the secret to language learning.
(3) But because I wanted to understand the story, I looked them up in the dictionary.
(4) I want to learn new words and more grammar so that I can have a better understanding of English movies.

(3) Which gives you a headache: understanding English, vocabulary, grammar, listening, speaking, reading or writing?
2. Match the problems with settlements.
