too much 与 much too
一、much too 意为“很，太，非常”，是副词词组，用来修饰形容词和副词，其中much 常用
来加强语气。如：
You walked much too far yesterday afternoon. 昨天下午你走得太远了。
It’s much too cold today. 今天天气太冷了。
二、too much 作“太多”解，有三种用法：
1、作名词词组：
You give me too much. 你给我的太多了。
2、作副词词组，修饰动词：
Watching TV too much is bad for your health. 电视看太多对你的健康有害。
3、作形容词词组，修饰不可数名词：
I don’t like winter because there ’s too much snow and ice. 我不喜欢冬天，因为冰雪太多了。
注意：(1) too much 一般不单独在be 动词之后作表语。
(2) too much 与much too 两者均可作副词词组，但修饰形容词或副词时只能用much too
不可用too much.
