Start the engine, open the windows, turn the blower on high and the AC to full cold.Start the recovery unit and open the high-side service valve only.Monitor the gauges. When the low gauge reaches 15psi make sure the compressor has shut down. If not turn off AC and allow the recovery unit to run. After the recovery unit shuts off monitor the gauges. If the pressure rises above 0psi start the recovery unit again. Continue this process unit the pressures stay below 0psi.Replace any parts required and install the low-side fitting.Install the high-side fitting.Check and verify that the vehicle has a HPCS. If not install one per bulletin.D
