When 和While 引导时间状语从句的区别
学情分析
学生已经学过现在进行时,对过去进行时的理解应该相对容易些,教师一定要强调好他的关键词。而when和 while 的区别对学生来说是个难点。

听说式,师生互动式
1通过多媒体依次向学生呈现一组图片。依次提问.What is he doing now? What were you doing at 8:00 last night? 引导学生区分两种时态,并答出He was playing soccer.
2 Ask and answer in pairs. 学生用过去进行问答练习。
3 Play a guessing game. 出示几幅图片让学生猜他在干什么?此游戏来练习过去进行时的一般疑问句。eg.Was he eating? Yes, he was./No, he wasn’t.
4 出示图片,导入What was he doing when you saw him?
引导学生回答 He was shouting when I saw him. 学生进行齐读。分组对话,两人对话练习。
5 Practice in pairs :Then make a class report.
A:What were you doing when your mother/father came home yesterday
B:I ......when my mother/father came home.
6 出示图片,由When I called him up, he was sleeping.引出 While he was sleeping,I called him up.通过几组练习,让学生掌握两者的区别。
7 Listening practice.
Listen and answer: Listen and fill in the form.
8 Writing. 要求学生用1a的图片,利用所学时态,完成短文。
