Reading Part 2 （1 ） QUESTIONS 6-10 The young people below are all looking for something interesting to do on their birthdays. On the opposite page there are eight descriptions of activities. Decide which activity would be the most suitable for the following people. For questions 6-10. mark the correct letter (A-H) on your answer sheet. 6 Callum likes most sports but he prefers to take part rather than to watch. His 13th birthday is in two weeks’ time and he wants to spend it with ten of his friends. 7 For her birthday, Gemma would like to spend a whole day doing something outdoors with four close friends. Gemma and her friends are interested in wildlife and learning about the environment they live in. 8 Sabines 16th birthday is at the end of the week. She wants to try a fun activity with a couple of her friends that tests their fitness. 9 Shazad is interested in the history of the natural world. His parents say that for his 10th birthday he can do something that involves his best friends staying with him overnight. 10 Tanyas birthday is next month and shed like to spend it with about fifteen friends, doing something creative. She would like them to cook together and enjoy the food they make.
