Section A (Grammar Focus—3c) 　;know v. 知道; 了解 【语境领悟】 *—Where are the pencils? 铅笔在哪里? —I don’t know. 我不知道。 *I know Tom’s telephone number. 我知道汤姆的 号码。 *We know him very well. 我们对他非常熟悉。;【自主归纳】 (1) know为实义动词, 意为“知道; 了解〞, 可单独使用, 后面不跟人或物作宾语。I don’t know. 意为“我不知道。〞其中don’t是do与not的缩写形式。 (2) know后也可跟作宾语的人或物。;【归纳拓展】 谓语动词是实义动词的否认句 　　当谓语动词是实义动词时, 其??认形式不是直接在动词后面加not, 而是加助动词don’t或doesn’t (主语为第三人称单数时) 来完成。 He doesn’t know my name. 他不知道我的名字。 I don’t know the boy. 我不认识这个男孩。;【学以致用】 I know his name. (对应Where is. . . ? ) 或They’re. . .
