14.1 A list of approved vendors is attached at Annex H hereto (the “Approved Vendor List” or “List”). 14.2 Equipment and materials listed in Annex H shall be purchased from suppliers as reflected in the Approved Vendor List. For other equipment and materials not manufactured by Builder and not included in the Approved Vendor List but used as part of the Works, Builder shall have the right to purchase from those suppliers whose supplied/manufactured material and/or equipment are capable of meeting the requirement of the Classification requirements and this Contract. For other equipment and materials not manufactured by Builder not included in the Approved Vendor List but used as part of the Works which are not required to meet Classification requirements, Builder shall present the supplies which the Builder intends to procure to the Owner for review and consultation. In the event that such materials or equipment listed in the Approved Vendor List become unavailable to the Builder, APPROVED VENDOR LIST the Builder shall have the right to substitute and procure such materials or equipment from a vendor not on the Approved Vendor List provided that such substitute materials and/or equipment shall be of equivalent quality, capable of meeting the requirements of the Classification Society and this Contract, subject to Owner’s consent, which shall not be unreasonably withheld. 14.3 The List shows the vendors from whom the Builder intends to purchase machinery equipment, etc. As a principle, the total number of the vendors for each individual equipment and/or materials shall not exceed five (5) and shall not be less than two (2) for selection. 14.4 When two (2) or more vendors are listed for an item on the List, the Builder will choose one (1) of them and inform the Owner of its vendor choice before signing a legally binding and valid contract with the relevant vendor in respect of the items of the List, at least ten (10) Working Days after Builder’s notification of Ow
