Target language: Which of the subjects do you like best? I like ...best. 2、能力目标 (1)掌握中学新接触的三门课程名称:Geography, History, Biology. (2)掌握重点句型:Which of the subjects do you like best? I like ...best. (3)能够流利地朗读并表演Comic strip的对话。 3、情感目标 通过对科目的学习及学校生活的谈论,使学生爱上学习,与同伴分享学习的乐趣,享受丰富多彩的初中生活。 三、学时:一课时 四、教学重难点 掌握四会词汇、词组和句型,能熟练朗读对话。 五、教学思路 1、利用视频、PPT图片展示,Brainstorm 等方式进行新单词的学习。 2、通过pair work , group work, competition, role-playing等环节,师生、生生互动的方式使学生对重点句型,重点对话的理解和掌握达到教师预设的教学目标。 六、教学手段 多媒体课件 七、教学步骤 Step1 Warm-up 1. Greetings. 2. Show the video of our school. 【设计意图】通过课前的师生问候及利用视频简介学校,激发学生学习热情,创设轻松、和谐的课堂学习氛围。 Step 2 Lead-in T: Our School is also a middle school, right? Ss: ... Ask Ss the question: What’s the biggest(最大的) difference(不同之处)between middle school and primary school in your study? Ss: We need to learn more subjects(科目). 【设计意图】通过简单的问答,引导学生说出在初中需要学习更多的科目,自然过渡到新知教学。 Step 3 Presentation Learn the words of subjects by showing the pictures on PPT. Revise the six old subjects quickly. (English, Maths ,Chinese, PE, Art, Music) Learn Geography, and then look at the screen, listen and read. T: I like Geography, because it’s very useful. Learn History, and then look at the screen, listen and read. T: I like History, because it’s very interesting. Learn Biology, then look, listen and read. T: I like Biology, because it’s very fun. 【设计意图】通过呈现具有各科目特点的图片,由旧科目到新科目的顺序导入科目词汇,同时词句结合;利用课件、图、音、文结合引导学生看、听、说词汇,让学生掌握新词汇。 Step 4 Practice 1. Test your eyes: say out the subjects as quickly as possible. 2. Finish Part A on page 31. 3.
