* Test and inspection equipment can be connected to the transmission electronics (Testman pro) in order to use data, find faults, and remove errors. Operating data: Statistical data (speed, driving share traveled in each gear, retarder operation, standstill times, temperatures, etc.) is recorded in cycles in order to evaluate incidents and to implement corrections. The application analysis also depicts the allocation to the SORT cycles. Diagnosis: The inspection of the transmission can be effected with the bus either standing still or running, either directly or via a mobile phone. The rating/key data of the transmission and the bus are indicated. All signal outputs and inputs may be checked. Error memory: The type and frequency of an error/fault can be read out. The cause of fault is identified and information on trouble shooting/remedies is provided. The ECU-EcoLife interfaces have been prepared for integration in bus manufacturers vehicle diagnosis systems. Contained in the scope of supply of the Testman: T adapter 9/6/3 pins ZF diagnosis adapter DPA 05 USB cable CAN universal cable RS 232 cable ZF-Testman diagnosis software on CD (without PC) * By a mobile phone, the technical headquarters of the bus operator are connected online to the vehicle operating in line service. Processes in the transmission can be directly observed: Which gear is engaged at which stage? How fast is the speed? What is the temperature behavior? Current stop times? Etc. Failures and faults (e.g. occurring sporadically) can be quickly detected and remedial action can be launched.
