学情教材分析
Textbook Analysis:
This unit has the topic of “life in the future”, in another word, “simple future tense with ‘will’”, which is somehow based on the introduction and development of robots. But, there is one big problem, the teaching material has been out of date, so the teacher needs to make some adjustment. And in period 1, it’s still going to focus on listening and speaking practice. Meanwhile, it also provides the students with a chance to practice comparatives and superlatives.
Students Analysis:
This unit is about “life in the future”, especially based on the introduction of robots, which seems unfamiliar to the students, but actually closely related to their daily life. So must be interested in the topic. And since they have mastered comparatives and superlatives, they will be able to talk about and share one’s opinions about the future.

To learn some new expressions of this period and be able to use them correctly.
To practice and improve one’s speaking and listening, especially by taking a part in the class
activities.
After learning, the students will be able to share one’s opinions about the future and begin to
realize one’s responsibility of making some change to the future life.
