Users at home can enjoy IPTV service in two ways: (1) the computer, (2) STB + tv. It can well adapt to the rapid development of the network, the trend, the full and effective use of cyber source. IPTV combines the telecommunications, television, Internet, which is not only the new business of telecom industry, but also one of the solutions to digital television, will become implementation triple play good models. This paper mainly introduces the key technologies, development process of IPTV. The paper also analysis IPTV living space, relationship with network television and digital television .tracking domestic and international IPTV of the latest developments in business and the design of questionnaire, investigation of Guangdong Province IPTV users use and expectations from their own perspective, put forward business development suggestions.
