citylife 作文 【篇一：city life and country life 】 city life and country life as more and more people are moving to cities, quite a lot of persons can not help asking whether city life is better than country life. as a matter of fact, each of them has their own advantages and disadvantages. city life and country life are common in many aspects, while they differ from each other greatly, especially in terms of living environment, public services and life-pace. when it comes to living environment, countryside is usually regarded better than cities by most people for its clean water, fresh air, green vegetables, etc. people there live in a simple life without too many advancing machines which produce a lot of pollution. country folks needn ’t worry about to breathe dirty air, drink unclean water or eat polluted food. by comparison, however, with the rapid development of modern science and technology, advancing equipment such as electric fans, air conditioning, and some other useful and convenient furniture which help improve quality in daily life can be seen almost everywhere in unbans. although the living conditions in cities are improved greatly, residents there are suffering badly from much pollution caused by these so-called modern apparatus like noise pollution, water pollution and so on. therefore, the environment in the countryside is more suitable for people to live in. however, as far as the public services are concerned, countryside is less superior to cities. countryside is often lacking in basic equipment or resources in education, medical care or other aspects . for example, when people catch a disease in rural areas, they may just only go to a small clinic for a treatment. the clinic is not only often short of necessary medicine, but also doesn ’t have specialized doctors who are qualified for the job. patients can not get
