This course is designed to give students a basic foundation in the theory, practice and techniques of drawing. Students will learn the skills to express themselves visually through mark-making and will experiment with various materials and techniques. A series of hands-on projects will include drawing still life from observation, the basics of linear perspective, drawing the human figure and working from visual memory.
