Basic Timing Diagrams Define Timing Edges Normal and Extended Mode Timing Time set Basic sheet Time Set and Edge Set Sheets Functional and BPMU Templates Debug Displays Required Sheet Information to be entered: Time Set: The name of the Time Set to be defined, for example“rw_inst” Cycle Period: The clock period to be used by this time set Pin/Group Name: Enter on successive rows of the sheet the name of each pin or group to which the time set timing will apply Pin/Group names can be named once per Time Set Required Sheet Information to be entered: Data Src: The source of the logic value to be applied or verified. Select one of the following, available from a drop down list: PAT: Pattern. Data will taken from the pattern file (.pat). This is the selection used in most cases. PATNOT: Pattern negated. Data will be the complement of that in the pattern file. PATHI: Pattern High. A logic high will be substituted for pattern data. Applies to Drive data only. PATLO: Pattern Low. A logic low will be substituted for pattern data. Applies to Drive data only. ALLHI: All High. A logic high will be substituted for pattern data. Applies to Drive and Compare data. Drives during compare cycle. ALLLO: All Low. A logic low will be substituted for pattern data. Applies to Drive and Compare data. Drives during compare cycle. Cycle CPP: The Clocks per Period factor to be used by pins whose ‘setup’ is MCG (Multi-clock generator) mode Allows clock channels to operate at a higher rate than data channels Clocks-per-period Divider range: 1 to 1000 If left blank the factor is set to 1 Pin/Group Setup: Enter the name of any special hardware mode that should be applied to the Pin/Group for all Time Sets on this sheet.
