“so/such...that...“如此……以至于……”的用法 * 一、结构：so/such...that...“如此……以至于……”，that引导结果状语从句. adj./adv +that clause 1. so + adj.+ a(n)+可数名词单数+that-clause many/much/few/little(少)+名词+that-clause a(n)+adj.+ 可数名词单数+ that-clause 2.such + adj.+不可数名词+that-clause adj.+可数名词的复数+that-clause * ①He told us so interesting a story that we all laughed. ＝He told us such an interesting story that we all laughed. ②There were so many books in the shop that he didnt know which to buy. ③It is such fine weather that we all want to go out for a walk. ④She had changed so much that I could hardly recognize her. ⑤Shes kind and patient, and she explains English grammar so clearly that even I can understand it! * 二、怎样正确运用： 1、看冠词的位置： ①冠词在形容词之前，选such. (such +a(n)+adj.+可数名词单数+that-clause ②冠词在形容词之后，选so. (so+ adj.+ a(n)+可数名词单数+that-clause He hold such a heavy stick that others think he wants to beat others He hold so heavy a stick that others think he wants to beat others * 2、such后也可马上出现形容词 （such +adj.+不可数名词+that-clause或 such+ adj.+可数名词的复数+that-clause）。 因而不要后面出现了形容词就马上选so,还要看这个形容词是否修饰名词。 ①若修饰名词（不可数名词或可数名词复数），选such。 ②若不修饰名词，选so。 He has made such great progress that the teachers are pleased with him.
