This standard is revision of QB/T 2171 -2001 Metal zipper, this standard compared with QB/T 2171-2001, the main changes are as follows: - Changed the usable scope of zippers; - Increased zipper terminology; - Increased recommended form for type of the zipper (Appendix A); - Deleted the classification of metal zipper by the material of scoops and tape; - Deleted the requirements for 2# zipper; - Changed 6# and 9# zippers in primary standard to 7# and 1(# zippers in this standard; - Changed the classification requirements for metal zipper; - Changed width of tape and size range of Back forth head tape; - Increased requirements for package quantity of finished zipper and slider; - Changed requirements for junction quantity of chain zipper; - Deleted requirements for physical performance of aluminium alloy zipper and cotton yam tape zipper; - Changed main physical performance requirements, including breaking strength crosswise of chain, holding strength of top stop, box slippage strength, o/e chain crosswise strength, slider puller pull-off strength, slider mouth deflection strength, holding strength of slider lock,
