INSTRUCTOR: The intent here is for the QRE to document existing knowledge prior to the first team meeting in order to focus the meeting on the discovery of new risk information. Query class on other means of preparing a preliminary FMEA. Have 1x1 with key players ahead of time and put into the preliminary FMEA. INSTRUCTOR: It is usually more efficient to identify all of the failure modes, effects and causes before determining their severity. All severities should also be assigned prior to determining all of the controls. INSTRUCTOR: Functions and failure modes must be written in a noun/verb or verb/noun combination. Don’t use single words for functions and failure modes. Try to be descriptive of the process. INSTRUCTOR: INSTRUCTOR: Query for other functions.
