In order to give full play to the role of water coervancy maintenance projects for the sustainable development of society and economy， the management of water coervancy maintenance project (WCMP) must be improved. The WCMP of M Area， which have established initially flood control，drainage， water supply， and irrigation system， is an important infrastructure foundation for the rapid development of M Area national economy and society， but in the later stages management of WCMP， the phenomenon of stressing cotruction over management exists for a long time， and the running ways and mea of water coervancy maintenance management are iufficient. Therefore， it is of great importance for future development to strengthen the management of WCMP。 This paper fitly analyzes the current situation of project management at home and abroad by coulting a lot of data， and puts forwards the research contents and ideas，as well as the research methods.
