Method: From March 2012 to March 2013， 400 cases of orthopedic surgery patients in our hospital were digital randomly divided into experimental group with 200 cases and control group with 200 control group was treated only with the conventional sterilization shop towel， while the experimental group was treated with % povidone-iodine disinfection drugs for pre-sterilized， compared two groups of surgical incision site′s amount of bacteria and in different period′s colony counts and postoperative infection rates. Results: The experimental group after bacterial culture′s bacterial clearance rate was 99%， which was significantly higher than the control group of 93%，the difference was statistically significant (P).
