七年级英语(上册)Unit7第一课时的教学设计
一、教学目标:
1、To learn the new words and sentences:dollar, sweater, shirt, T-shirt , skirt , jacket , bag , shorts, pants , shoes, socks
2、To learn and master the sentences:How much is the …? It’s … dollar. How much are … ? They’re … dollars.
3、培养学生勤俭节约的好习惯,能够合理使用零花钱。
二、教学重点:
学习运用重点句型:How much is the …? It’s … dollar.
How much are … ? They’re … dollars.
三、教学难点:会读会用有关服装的单词。
四、教学过程:
Step 1 Warming up
Greeting the students. Read the numbers 0—10 together.
Step2 Leading-in
1. Show some pictures about money,and let the students guess and learn how to say.
T: What is this?
Ss: Money.(Ss can say in Chinese).
T : How much?
Ss:...(Help them answer.Learn the new word“dollar”,“dollars”.)
T : ….
2. Show a picture of a clothes shop and teach new words.
T: There are many clothes in the shop. Are they beautiful? Do you know how to say the clothes?
Ss : …
(Show a picture and practise)
T: Look! What’s this ?
Ss : It’s a sweater.
T: What color is it?
Ss : It’s yellow.
3. In the same way, teach the new words : shirt , T-shirt , skirt .
4. Show the pictures of socks/shorts/shoes and learn like this:
T: What are these?
Ss: They are socks.
T: What color are they?
Ss:They are
Step 3 1a
Let the students read and try to write the words on the paper. Next ask several students to read the words. Then finish 1a on page41,at last check the answers.
Step 4 Presentation
Learn to how to ask about the prices. (Use the pictures of clothes to say the prices.)
T: How much is this sweater/shirt ?
Ss: It’s nine/five dollars. ( Help the students answer.)
T: How much are these shorts /socks?
Ss: They are seven/two dollars.
Step 5 Listening 1b.
Look at the words in 1a. Listen and circle the words of the clothes you hear.Check the answer.
Step 6 Pair work 1c
Ask the students to work in pairs and practice the conversations like this:(Use your own clothes/schoolthings.)
S1: How much is your T-shirt/skirt/pen…?
S2: It’s …dollars(yuan).
