Unit content Warming-up: Promotion Slogans Reading A: International Trade Wisdom of China: The Silk Road Reading B: NaturaJam Sales Confirmation Language Lab: Exercises Listening Speaking: Negotiating About Price Writing: Memo Mini-project: Promoting a Product with Appropriate Strategies Self-study Room: Noun Clauses Time requirement: 8-9 periods Unit Focus absolute additional avenue be inclined to better off comparative confirmation consumer description differ exchange export legal likewise make sense participate principle regardless of stipulate Teaching procedures This unit is arranged for a time span of 9 hours, during which a time limit is suggested for each step. A teacher should never stick to a rigid time plan in teaching, but rather deal with teaching materials more flexibly. Choose the appropriate teaching materials and make necessary adjustments in accordance with students language proficiency and learning situation. Note that not every step or hour arrangement suggested here is a must in teaching. Mini-project and Self-study Room can be arranged in a flexible way based on the actual teaching schedule.
