Scope This Standard specifies safety requirements, test methods and markings of lithium secondary cells (more than 4 Wh/L) and batteries assembled by them for use in portable devices. (The secondary cells and batteries for use in portable devices with the function of the navigation are included in the scope regardless of the energy density per a dimension) However, the cells and batteries for use of the vehicle operational, industrial, medical equipment(other than portable devices) and the button types are excluded from this scope. 2.
