The course aims at providing exposure and insights into a range of approaches and tools for decision aiding, and how they can be utilized in supporting various managerial decision processes. Topics covered in class will include: basic structure and components of decision support systems, knowledge-based systems and artificial intelligence methods to support decision making, including Business Intelligence, data-warehousing and data mining.
