Falling asleep on the gatherd leaves with my dog and gun by my side.
我独自在遥远的荒山野外等待猎物的出现,
深深地惊喜于我的轻快和昂扬,
在天晚时寻觅了一个安全的地方过夜,
燃起火,烤熟了刚猎到的野味,
我全身酥软地躺在集拢来的叶子上,我的狗和枪躺在我的身旁。

My eyes settle the land, I bend at her prow or shout joyously from the deck.

高扬风帆的美国人的快舰,冲过了闪电和雷雨。
