Introduction As language teachers, we should pay attention to the primary English reading teaching inspired by the theme meaning. In primary school English reading teaching, researchers should deepen their understanding of the theme meaning, develop themed reading teaching materials, and ensure that the theme connotation of English reading is fully manifested in English reading teaching. Theme Orientation Exploration in Primary English Reading Teaching 1.Strengthen the theme exploration during teaching activities Reading is a kind of detailed and deep contextual understanding activity, rather than a mechanical task, so it can be beneficial for teachers to pay more attention to the exploration, analysis and interpretation of the theme when teaching. The concept of thematic exploration emphasizes the need to explore the main theme of the text so as to stimulate students interests and get deeper into the text and reflect on their life and society. In primary school English reading teaching class, teachers and students should ask targeted questions in analyzing the theme of the text. For example, when teachers ask about general questions such as the name of characters or the theme of the text, they should also ask deeper questions about the main theme of the text: What is the moral experience in it? What can I learn from this text? What kind of conflicts exist in the text? 2. Strengthen the construction of reading materials Constructing teaching materials based on the theme of English reading has a direct impact on reading teaching.
