Step 2 Speaking
1.Ask the students what they do and dont do during the week with questions such as “Do you come to school in the morning/afternoon?”.
2.Write “DO/DONT”on the blackboard. Elicit(引出) activities for each and write them in the appropriate column.
3.Ask the students on which day they have a lot of classes or do a lot of things. Encourage the students to say, “Its a busy day…” Then other students repeat the sentences.
4.Ask the students to work individually and make a list of what they do and dont do during the week.
5.Ask the students to work in pairs and ask each other about their weekly activities.
6.Let the students retell the weekly activities of their partners.
Step 3 Practice
Divide the whole class into four groups. Let each group finish activities 2-5 individually. After they finish, ask each group to report their answer.
Step 4Around the world
1.Look at the picture and discuss it with the students.
2.Compare the school day in UK with that in China.
Step 5 Module task
Make the students talk about their ideal school day and complete the table with the results they talk about.
