With the increasingly rich content of social life, local culture is gradually being assimilated or missing, that the heritage and protection of folk culture is increasingly valued by the contemporary scholars. Regional dialect is not only a non-material cultural heritage, but also a particular manifestation of traditional Chinese culture; is not only the crystallization of peoples wisdom, but also the indispensable component of our rich cultural system. This article quotes from dialect kinsfolk appellations in the local culture, and discusses from the differences between Kaixian dialect kinsfolk appellations and regional kinsfolk appellations. Then from the cultural history of Kaixian County, it leads the major relatives appellation words in Kaixian County dialect to compare with the kinship words in the Northern dialect and Sichuan dialect.
