Target students are from Grade?, who lend to fancy dogs and other animals, and they have some knowledge about how dogs can be helpful, but they may lack knowledge about how ocher animals can be helpful. So students may find it easy to cope with the listening part related to helpful dogs, and have difficulties when dealing with the speaking part related to other helpful animals. Hence, VW let students retell how three dogs help people as a post-listening activity to build up confidence before the speaking part. Ill use mind maps at this stage to sort out ideas and students will make use of minds maps to generate ideas during (he speaking part.
