Introduction With the predicted increase in globe temperature, the human face many disasters including the natural ecosystems and the social economy. In the natural ecosystems, there is the melting of the glacier, more rising sea level and so on. In the social economy, there is the production of main crops and animal husbandry, the water supply, the energy resources supply and so on. And there are some relations with the affects. Because there is very difficult to assess all the affects, we only discuss the most important effect in this paper: the melting of the north polar ice cap. Restatement Clarification of the problem As we know, if the north polar ice cap has melted, the human will face the huge disaster. So it ’s important and necessary to study the problem. Considering there are many effects, we only discuss the following effects: The rise of the sea level; The aggravation of the hurricane; The migration and mutation of the species; The international economic impact. Then we establish our models to assess the effects above. We calculate the effects on the coast of Florida every ten years for the next 50 years due to the melting. In our models, the effects of large metropolitan areas attract our great attention. After calculating the effects, we also give some preventive measures to slow down the efforts due to the melting.
