The proposal of double carbon target expand an important direction of green finance __ carbon finance. The development of carbon finance can not only lead the green and low-carbon development of rural areas, but also effectively help the realization of rural revitalization. Therefore, starting from the positive role of green finance in promoting rural revitalization, thi paper make an in-depth analysi of the obstacle faced by green finance in promoting rural revitalization from three aspects: insufficient effectivene of green finance market, low matching degree of green finance system and incomplete supporting guarantee of green finance. It also put forward the path of boosting rural revitalization by green finance under the background of double carbon from three aspects: improving the effectivene of rural green finance market, improving the policy system of rural green finance and improving the supporting guarantee of green finance
