Title: A Pragmatic Analysis of Humor in English
Introduction:
Humor plays an important role in human interaction and communication. 4. How do speakers and audiences negotiate misunderstandings, offense, or ambiguity in humorous interactions?
5. What implications can be drawn from the study of humor in English for our understanding of pragmatics, sociolinguistics, and cross-cultural communication?
