School of Physical Education and Health, Central China Normal University, Wuhan 430000, China) Abstract: By using the methods of literature review and logic analysis, this paper analyzed the internal functions, practical dilemma and cracking path of digital economy driving the upgrading of sports industry structures. The research holds that the digital economy takes data elements, technology empowerment and industrial platform as the core driving forces. The internal functions of driving the upgrading of sports industrial structure is refl ected in cost saving eff ect, scale economy eff ect, precise allocation eff ect and innovation empowerment eff ect. Practical dilemma: The policy macro-control system is not sound and the leading force is inadequate; the supply system quality is unstable and the reform effectiveness is insufficient; the application of digital technology is insufficient and the basic support force
