Inspired by his struggles with deafness, the composer produced some amazing pieces, including nine symphonies, five piano pieces, and an opera! The famous German composer’s ninth symphony was finally completed. Writing the piece had taken several years, and now the final notes had been added to the score. At 54 years of age, he didn’t know that this would be his last symphony.
