In the process of engineering construction, the aerated concrete blocks have became a common engineering construction material because of its high strength and application advantages of small bulk density. The selection of aerated concrete blocks will directly affect the insulation effect. Meanwhile, it could also be selected for the purpose of heat preservation and insulation according to the outside environment. The application of this material is very convenient and its raw materials are also easy to obtain with reasonable price. The industrial waste could be directly used in the production process of such materials, realizing the concept of sustainable and environmental construction. This paper mainly explores the main reasons for the cracks in the application process of aerated concrete blocks and develops reasonable prevention and control measures based on the building experience and construction environment, thus being the basis for improving the construction quality.
